METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STEREOSCOPIC VIDEO DISPLAY

PURPOSE: To eliminate or reduce the lack of stereoscopic expression for the front images shown at the parts around a display frame. CONSTITUTION: The virtual screen frames A and B are set in front of a monitor display frame 1 to prescribe the display ranges of the left and right eye front display media 2 and 3 respectively. Thus an observer can recognize a stereoscopic image in the depth directions of both frames A and B. As these frames A and B are separate from each other by an extent equal to a parallax set between both eyes, the medium 2 gets out of the frame A and lacks a screen like the medium 3 when this medium gets out of the frame 1. Thus an uneven lacking state is never caused between the right and left eyes and the satisfactory stereoscopic expression is always secured at the parts around the frame 1.
