PURPOSE: To prevent a defective image from being formed by preventing a developer from being scattered to the outside of a developing region at the time of providing plural developing rollers with simple structure. CONSTITUTION: This developing device is provided with a developer scattering preventing member 1C1 having a bag part 1C1A capable of being abutted on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 2 and deformed and made of an elastic material and a cantilever-like developer sticking preventing member 1C2 arranged on the downstream side of the developer scattering preventing member 1C1 in the moving direction of a developing roller 5 and abutted on or arranged closely to the surface of the drum 2, the bag part 1C1A of the developer scattering preventing member 1C1 is brought into close contact with the surface of the drum 2 to suppress the scattering of the developer and prevent the advancement of the developer which tends to stack to the rear surface of the developer scattering preventing member 1C1 from the surface of the developing roller 5. |
