The bearing consists of an annular sleeve (3) disposed around the shaft (1) of a steering column and is made up of a rigid radial rib (4) from which extends axial wings (5,6) that are elastically deformable. These wings are inclined, one (6) in the direction of the body of the column and the other (5) in the direction of the shaft. The axial wings inclined in the direction of the shaft are adapted to cooperate with an anti-friction split sleeve (7) on the shaft. The fixing of the annular sleeve (3) with the split ring (7) is by bent lugs (8,9) distributed around the sleeve (7). |
