Rigid panelling for interior of vehicle

The rigid panelling consists of plates able to be joined to each other, overlapping at the ends. The plate covered at its end sector lying against covering plate, and supported in the opposite direction by a bead (12) on the plate against an interior component (4). It is held in the direction in which it extends by the covering plate being caught in a groove (14). The plates are fixed by a deformable clip (7) which can be fitted in a plate recess (9) and in a boring (10) in the interior. The bead (12) may be in the form of a spring collar on the plate.
