The energy plant has a vertical mast shaft (1) supporting at least one wind turbine, attached to a ground foundation (2) via an associated support (3). The wind turbine can rotate about the vertical axis of the mast shaft relative to the support. The mast shaft can rotate relative to the support and is supported in the horizontal direction relative to the foundation at its bottom end. Pref. the support is provided by a conical shell enclosing the mast shaft adjacent its bottom end, via a conical bearing edge (6) projecting from the mast shaft. The latter may be rotated via an electric drive motor contained within the support, acting on a drive spline at the bottom end of the mast shaft. |
