PURPOSE: To reduce transmission of vibration to a main body and to prevent positional shifting caused by external force at the time of assembling by using a coupling means having the degree of freedom at least in one direction for fixing a gear train, in a driving device in which the shafts of the respective gears of the gear train are clamped between two plates and supported. CONSTITUTION: Plural shafts 100, 101 are fixed on a metallic plate (gear plate) by caulking, and gears 30, 31 are fitted to the respective shafts 100, 101 to form a gear train. A driving device including the above gear train and a motor is fixed to a chassis 6 of a main body device. At the time of above fixing, positioning to the chassis 6 is performed by fitting the tips of the shafts 100, 101 in positioning holes 91, 92 of the chassis 6, and after such positioning, a vis 12 is fastened on the leg part 61 of the chassis 6 through a rubber sheet 82 to fix the driving device. Further, a leg part 65 for holding a rubber leg 81 is formed on the chassis 6, and the rubber leg 81 is fitted to be held in a recess part 65a on the forward end of the leg part 65.
