PURPOSE: To easily manufacture a large quantity of filters, to improve productivity and to reduce cost by forming a capacitor by the surface electrode and the rear surface electrode formed at the location where the surface side and the rear surface side of a substrate are opposed with each other. CONSTITUTION: After a sintered compact is obtained, first external electrodes 7a and 7b are formed on the part extended from surface electrodes 5a and 5b. On the part extended from a conductor 6 connecting rear surface electrodes 6a and 6b with each other, second external electrodes 8a and 8b are formed. By the pair of the surface electrode 5a and the rear surface electrode 6a, a capacitor element is formed. By the pair of the surface electrode 5b and the rear surface electrode 6b, the capacitor element is formed. Further, an inductance element is formed by a conductor 5 connecting surf ace electrodes 5a and 5b with each other and the magnetic material contained in a green sheet 2 and other green sheets 1, 3 and 4 to be the substrates where the conductors 5 are wired. Thus, aπtype EMI filter circuit is composed as a whole.
