摘要 The method is for the introduction of structures in smooth surfaces of hard materials by the conversion of the compsn. and the structure of the areas close to the surface. An electric motor (1) is involved which drives a pliable shaft (2). The shaft on the side away from the motor has a grip piece (3) with a rapid clamping device in which a 20mm long steel wire is so clamped that approximately 10mm remain free. A round pointed steel pin 0.5mm to 2mm thick is used, made of an alloyed, stainless steel. It is rotated at a speed of 3,000 to 20,000 rev/min and has a wt. force of 50g to 1,000g. It is positioned at an angle between 70 and 90 deg. to the workpiece surface and is moved with a speed of 0.5 to 10 cm/s over the workpiece surface, producing a line. By producing a series of adjacent lines, the required structure is obtained. The wire pin is made of a steel comprising X 12 CrNiMn 19.9.
