A knob (11, 14, 20) made of a coiled wire has its one end (12) cylindrically coiled so that it can be used as an internally threaded end that is screwed onto a non-threaded cylindrical support (13, 16, 23). It can be removed by being pulled while being turned in the same direction as when mounted. The knob can be used as decorative ends of a curtain rod (13). If a cylindrical support (16) is secured to the wall behind a curtain by being screwed to the wall, a wire knob can be screwed onto the support (16) to form a curtain tie back itself or to be a support for a curtain tie back (20-23). The support (16) and knob (14) can for example also be used as a door knob. |
