PURPOSE: To provide the information equipment which is simple in structure and can easily switch a 2nd case between a laterally long state and a longitudinally long state and gives good stability to the 2nd case in the laterally long state and longitudinally long state. CONSTITUTION: A 1st guide groove 13 which crosses the axial direction of a hinge 6 and a 2nd guide groove 14 in the axial direction of the hinge 6 are formed on the front surface side of a base 5 provided in a main body case 1 freely rotatably by the hinge 6, and a 1st moving member 17 which moves in the 1st guide groove 13 and a 2nd moving member 18 which moves in the 2nd guide groove 14 are provided on the back surface side of a lid case 7 provided with a display part 8. Therefore, when the lid case 7 coupled by the 1st and 2nd moving members 17 and 18 is rotated on the base 5 by 90 deg., the downward projection length of the lower corner part of the lid case 7 becomes small to easily switch the lid case 7 between the laterally long state and longitudinally long state, and neither of the 1st and 2nd moving members 17 and 18 moves freely in the laterally long state and longitudinally long state, so that the stability of the lid case 7 is good. |
