PURPOSE: To provide a carbon material for an electrode capable of forming a high energy density nonaqueous solvent secondary battery by forming the electrode with the specific carbon material. CONSTITUTION: A carbon material is electrochemically doped with lithium. An electrode is formed with the carbon material having the main resonance peak shifted to the low magnetic field side by 80-200ppm against the resonance line of the reference material LiCl in the 7Li-NMR analysis. The carbon material for the electrode capable of forming a high-energy density nonaqueous solvent secondary battery is obtained. |
