The arrangement contains one part of a housing attached to the vehicle's steering wheel and which rotates with it. A fixed housing part is mounted on the steering column. A rotary fixing device consists of a lock on one housing part which automatically locks when the wheel is mounted on the column. In the locked position a lock protrusion engages a recess in the other housing. The lock consists of a yoke-shaped spring with yoke arms (11) and shaft (12) and strongly curved yoke part. The gable arm ends (9) are attached to the surface of one housing part (4). The shaft, which can be guided on the housing part by a strap (13), has a latching protrusion (14) engaging a latch in the other housing part (2).
