The metal or plastics strip (3) is adhesive on one side and is stuck to a vertical magnetic surface. The holes in the strip contain permanent magnets (4) the exteriors of which support a bracket or tag such as key-ring. The strip is held by a magnetic strip (2) for instance made of iron plate to form a composite unit. The free side of the magnetic strip can be fixed to any surface, while the other side of the magnetic strip takes magnetic stuck to it when the magnets are inserted through the holes in the plastics or metal strip.
