Cavity moulding for electrical installations in concrete floors

A hollow moulding for electrical installations in concrete floors has a front part 13 made up of a large square plate 14 with a collar 15 standing proud to which is attached a cylindrical lid 16. The rear part 23 comprises a can 24 with a mouth 25 that matches the plate and at the side of the mouth is a union 33 for a housing 34 containing wiring connections. There are also cable lead-through 38 in the side of the mouth. The height of the collar plus the height of the lid equals that of the floor section in which it is embedded, so that the lid is a flush-fitting item.
