The lift car consists of a plate-like bearing bottom group, roof element and wall panel elements. Adjacent parallel panel elements (41) are fixed to each other by an insertion connection (42), which runs along the entire vertical edge zone of the panel elements. The edging of adjacent wall elements is turned through 180 deg. to form the connection, or alternatively a slotted connecting strip may be used. There may be an insertion pocket on the free U-arm of a U-shaped edging formed on one side edge of the wall element (41).
