Swivel mounting for electron beam gun and mounted between an electron beam gun (1) and a receiver (9) comprises a two-part housing (2) with the division between its two parts (3, 4) inclined relative to its axis. A drive element positioned in the division between the parts (3,4) consisting of two discs (10, 10') each fixed to one part (3,4) with an intermediate rotatable, vacuum sealed drive disc (11) allows the two housing parts (3,4) to be rotated opposite to each other by means of toothed elements. The housing (2) has vacuum-sealed upper gun mounting (5) and lower receiver mounting (8) flanges. The housing (2) is of truncated conical form and the division between the housing parts (3,4) is inclined about 30 deg to its axis.
