The immersed-plunger metering pumps have double-acting power drive. The (F1/F2) ratio between the effective plunger area (F1) of pump plunger (68) for the one component in relation to the second hardener pump plunger area (44,69,F2) equals the required mix ratio, using co-directed pump travel per cycle, and off a common hydraulic drive cylinder. The pumps run in parallel, using plungers linked by a cross-arm joined to the drive cylinder piston rod which in turn runs parallel to the centre axes of the two plungers so as to give a ratio (a1,a2). In this the distance (a1) of the cylinder piston centre axis from that of the pump plunger (68) with effective area (F1) relates to the cylinder rod axis distance (a2) from that of the pump (69) rod (area F2) axis so that this ratio (a1/a2) equals the ratio (F1/F2).
