PURPOSE: To provide a sealed lead-acid battery easily allowing the serial connection of batteries. CONSTITUTION: An electrode plate group 4 constituted of a positive electrode plate 2a, a negative electrode plate 2b, and a separator 3 inserted between them is sealed in a bag-like battery jar 1 made of a film or sheet 1a together with an electrolyte. Lug sections 8a, 8b of the positive and negative electrode plates 2a, 2b are exposed in opposite directions at specific positions of a seal edge section 1b on the periphery of the bag-like battery jar 1. |
