摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain an ultrasonic flaw detector in which the position of a probe is set easily and the position of the probe is confirmed clearly by installing a V-shaped movement frame which can be moved by a manual operation and in which a transmitting probe and a receiving probe are installed at leg parts inside a hand-held main frame which can be pressed to a material to be inspected, and detecting the position of the material to be inspected. CONSTITUTION: An operator grips a handle 14 by one hand 15, and a flaw detector is brought close to a measuring part on a material 12 to be inspected, so as to be pressed to a pressing-receiving face 13 on a main frame 11. Thereby, the material 12 to be inspected is covered deeply with leg parts 18, 19 for a movement frame 17 which is pressed by the force of springs 27, and a transmitting probe 25 and a receiving probe 26 are lined up in this position so as to be capable of detecting a flaw. While the pressed state of the pressing-receiving face 13 is being maintained, the movement frame 17 is brought close to a part 29 in the main frame 11 against the force of the springs 27 by the other hand 30. The probes 25, 26 are moved in a direction in which the material 12 to be inspected is covered more shallowly with the leg parts 18, 19, and flaw-detection echoes along the direction of guide bars 20, 22 are obtained. A position is detected by a photoelectric sensor 33.
