PURPOSE: To improve comfortableness by arranging a mobile diffuser at a lower tip part of a diffuser port of an indoor unit for an air conditioner to increase the amount of air in the heating operation. CONSTITUTION: An air filter 8, a room heat exchanger 9 and a blower 10 are arranged in an air path 7 connecting a suction port 5 and a diffuser port 6 of a easing body l. The diffuser port 6 has upper and lower louvers 11 to adjust blowing into a room vertically. A mobile diffuser 13 and a drive part 12 thereof are provided at the lower tip part of the diffuser port 6. In the cooling operation, the upper and lower louvers 11 are turned almost horizontally while the front of the mobile diffuser 13 is turned upward to be held at a position indicated by the broken line. In the heating operation, the upper and lower louvers 11 are turned almost vertically as illustrated while the mobile diffuser 13 is held at a position as indicated by the solid line to increase the amount of air or turned to the position as indicated by the broken line to increase the air velocity. |
