PURPOSE: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which mixed solvent of the specific composition is used as the solvent for nonaqueous electrolyte solution and a good low temperature characteristic is provided. CONSTITUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode made of carbonaceous material in which a d-value (d002 ) on the lattice plane (002) is 3.35Å to 3.37Å, nonaqueous electrolyte consisting of solvent and solute, and a separator. The solvent is mixed solvent composed of 10-33% by volume of propylene carbonate and 90-67% by volume of dimethyl carbonate, or mixed solvent composed of 15-32% by volume of butylene carbonate and 85-68% by volume of dimethyl carbonate. |
