Indirect electrical lighting for work surfaces e.g. in offices

The uniform lighting system for a table or work surface within a room is provided by an indirect lighting arrangement that has an electrical strip lighting unit (10) positioned between the surface (16) and the ceiling. The lighting unit has a reflector mounted such that the light is directed towards the ceiling. Mounted on or near to the ceiling is a reflector panel that consists of a number of parallel reflector strips (11-15) in parallel. The panels can be produced of polished aluminium and are set to provide reflection of light through different angles (22-26) so as to cover the complete surface area.
