Cleaning system for water pipework

The water pipework system, e.g. hot water heating system, is drained and is then flushed first with hot gas and then with chilled gas to remove the coating layers through thermal expansion changes. The loosened debris is finally flushed out using a liquid flushing agent, or plain water. Typical effective temperature differences of more than 100 deg. C. are used for the gasses. The flushing cycles are in defined repeated cycles and are applied at pressure. The hot gas can be produced by a compressor with water vent and electric heater. The cold gas can be generated using liquid carbon dioxide. The flushed gasses/liquid can be recycled or vented as required.
