Coating of disposable glass bottles

To apply a coating mass (10) to glass bottles (2), pref. disposable bottles, the coating mass (10) is delivered by one or more jets to the surface of a continuous and recirculating belt (11). The mass (10) is transferred from the belt (11) where the outer surfaces of the bottles (2) are at the belt path plane (16) along the line of bottles (2). Also claimed is an assembly where the bottles (2) are held in a line for their surfaces to be coated by the mass (10) carried by the continuous belt (11) along the transfer path plane (16) in contact with the bottle surfaces.
