Protection circuit of the type comprising at least one threshold comparator (C) coupled with at least one driving terminal (EN) of a device 2 to be protected. The threshold comparator (C) includes at least one pair of input transistors (Q1,Q2) having control terminals connected together in a first node (B) and first terminals operating as inputs of the threshold comparator (C) connected to a power line (AL) of the electronic power device 2 by means of a sensor. The threshold comparator C also comprises at least one second circuitry node (A) connected to at least one second terminal of the second input transistor (Q2) and coupled both to the output terminal (OUT) of the threshold comparator (C) and to a potential reference (GND). The protection circuit also comprises at least one feedback network (R) of said threshold comparator (C) having loop gain greater than one inserted between the second circuitry node (A) and the first node (B). <MATH>
