Polyphenylene sulfide resin composition and light reflective molded article

A polyphenylene sulfide resin composition excellent in fluidity and capable of producing a molded article excellent in surface smoothness and rigidity is disclosed, which comprises from 40 to 60 % by weight of a polyphenylene sulfide resin having a melt viscosity of from 300 to 4000 poises, from 30 to 50 % by weight of calcium carbonate having an average particle size of from 1 to 7 micrometres ( mu m), and from 8 to 25 % by weight of mica having an average particles size of from 1 to 10 micrometres ( mu m). Light reflective molded articles obtained by molding this composition are excellent in surface smoothness and rigidity.
