The decorative drawing paper is produced by dipping a nonwoven fabric having a good shrink resistance, water resistance and air permeability into an aqueous binder solution, drying and coating the raw paper, and dyeing it with a dyestuff. The aqueous binder solution is prepared by dissolving a vinyl acetate emulsion binder i.e. polyvinyl alcohol or a vaporable binder i.e. dextrin or rubber, and an emulsifying agent into a water. The drawing paper is used in the mfr. of artificial flowers and ribbons.
