<p>The invention relates to a transport device for bobbins (5) of weblike packaging material from a stock to a consumption station of a cigarette packaging machine, having a gripper (3), especially a jawed gripper, for gripping one bobbin (5) in each case, this gripper being displaceable in three mutually perpendicular directions and located on a mounting (2). In order to be able to locate and pick up bobbins (5) simply, provision is made for the gripper (3), which can be displaced by means of the mounting (2), to be arranged centred on a bisector between two strips (11) of the mounting (2) which are arranged in the manner of an angle relative to each other and can be brought into engagement with the respective circumference of the bobbin, the strips (11) being provided with sensors (16) for detecting an engagement of the strips (11) with the circumference of the bobbin at a predetermined angle between the respective strip (11) and the bisector. <IMAGE></p> |
