PURPOSE: To perform interlocking control of a regenerative brake device with a friction brake device more appropriately, and form the brake system by a simple construction and a low price. CONSTITUTION: The valve clearance (a) of a center valve is set so that the center valve is closed at a pedal stroke quantity when the regenerative torque reaches a little smaller prescribed value than the maximum regenerative torque Tmax. A motor 42 generates electricity by stepping in a pedal 7, and a wheel 38 is braked by a regenerative brake. When regenerative torque does not reach the prescribed value, the center valve is opened, pressure is not generated in first and second liquid chambers 15, 16, and hence a friction brake is not operated. On the pedal stroke position where the regenerative torque reaches the prescribed value, the center valve is closed, the brake liquid in the first liquid chamber 15 is fed to a brake cylinder 41, and loss stroke is dissolved. At this time, the regenerative torque reaches Tmax, and pressure is generated in the first and second liquid chambers 15, 16 so as to operate the friction brake. |
