PURPOSE: To safely stop a car at a storey floor by using a sound driving system in the case when a failure takes place with a part of a driving system on an elevator having a plural number of the driving systems. CONSTITUTION: A failed system judgement processing part 1 memorizes a failed driving system by way of demarcating the failed driving system from a sound driving system when it detects a failure signal. A failed system separation processing part 2 stops output of a driving command to the failed driving system by switching off an SW2 and simultaneously (within the same control cycle), duplicates a torque commanding value to the sound driving system by switching an SW3 or an SW4 to the side of '×2'. Additionally, a stopping storey floor setting processing part 3 computes a storey floor safely to stop at by using a position of a passenger cage at the time of detecting failure of the driving system, cage speed at that time and deceleration at the time of stoppage when the processing part 3 is proved effective and gives the storey floor as a target storey to a control system. Consequently, in the case when failure of any of a plural number of the driving systems is detected, it is possible to safely stop the passenger cage at the target storey floor by using the sound driving system. |
