<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electric toothbrush in which a load applied to a motor can be reduced to the minimum in usage. CONSTITUTION: A base end in the length direction of a thin and long slide member 15 is installed on a thin shaft part 12a at a tip of a drive shaft 12, the slide member 15 is contained in a case member 13, and a rotary brush 16 is supported to be exposed. The case member 13 is formed in such a curvature that the rotary brush 16 can be easily applied to teeth, and the slide member 15 is imparted with resiliency in a perpendicular direction to its length direction by providing a thin part 15f at a middle part of its length. For usage, as the rotary brush 16 is applied to the teeth, the case member 13 bends by its 'lax reaction force against the curvature, and the slide member 15 follows it to be resiliently deformed about the thin part 15f as a support point.</p> |
