PURPOSE: To prevent swelling in the radial direction without reducing tire performance by providing an additional carcass fixed around a bead member at a first carcass having a bias ply and a side wall part and arranging a reinforcing member in the middle in the radial direction of these extents in the cross direction. CONSTITUTION: This tire 10 of bias structure is constituted by fixing first and additional carcasses 16, 20 having plies reinforced with a plural number of cords around bead members 12A, 12B at side wall parts 14A, 14B. Each of the carcasses 16, 20 has extents in the cross direction on both sides of a central peripheral surface MD, a tread part 24 is provided outside in the radial direction of them, and the extent in the cross direction of the carcass 20 is outside in the radial direction of the carcass 16. The tread part 24 is connected to the side wall parts 14A, 14B through shoulder parts 26A, 26B, and a reinforcing member 28 including a nonmetal cord is provided in the middle in the radial direction of both of the extents in the cross direction. Consequently, it is possible to improve abrasion resistance of the tread part 24 in light weight. |
