<p>PURPOSE: To provide an excellent regenerating process by controlling combustion conditions by a recombustion means during regeneration processing according to the calorific value estimated by a calorific value estimation means. CONSTITUTION: DPFs (diesel particulate filters) 5 and 8 which collect the particulates exhausted from a diesel engine 1 are arranged in parallel with each other downstream of the branching of an exhaust pipe. Electric heaters 6 and 9 for igniting the particulate collected and sensors 7 and 10 for measuring the temperature of the DPFs are provided upstream of the DPFs 5 and 8. At two positions in the branching section of the exhaust pipe, exhaust gas switch valves 13 and 14 are arranged to select the DPF 5 or 6 for collecting particulates. An electronic circuit 3 carries out specified calculation based on the detection signal from each sensor to control the drive of a pneumatic pump 2, the electric heaters 6 and 9, the exhaust gas switch valves 13 and 14 and pneumatic control valves 15 to 18, for regeneration processing of the DPFs 5 and 6.</p> |
