PURPOSE: To enjoy a game in ease, by arranging four sets of shogi(Japanese chess game) piece groups so that each group can match with each other and moving the pieces by turns to play it by the use of a shogi game device and providing a memory for piece positions, a display of images of respective pieces, a designation means of pieces, and a judging means of the game. CONSTITUTION: This shogi board 22 is provided with a matching face 25 on which 81 squares of 9×9 are formed and four strong points 26 (26a-26d) at the periphery of the matching face 25. Stands 27 (27a-27d) to place the shogi pieces are provided between adjacent strong points 26, and further, a memory of the pieces on the board 22 of the first-the fourth piece groups, a display to indicate the images of respective piece groups, and a memory for captured pieces, are provided in the game device body. The arrangement of respective shogi piece groups and some of the captured pieces are designated and varied on the basis of positional information of pieces and the shogi rule, in the judging part of game. |
