<p>PURPOSE: To provide improved constitution of a valve for controlling the passage of exhaust gas and combustion accelerating gas in a filter regenerating device for internal combustion engines. CONSTITUTION: A filter regenerating device for an internal combustion engine, which is provided with the exhaust gas passage 30 arranged between heating space 15 and atmospheric air, the branch passage 28 which branches from an exhaust pipe upperstream of the exhaust gas of the heating space 15 joins the exhaust gas passage 30, a first valve 26 which closes the gas passing hole at this joining point, the second valve 27 arranged in the exhaust gas passage between the first valve 26 and the heating space 15 and a drive means 45 for driving each valve, secures the reliability of the control of the valve driving state in collection and regeneration, the collection performance and regenerating performance of the device, and the operation of an internal combustion engine.</p> |
