PURPOSE: To obtain the adhesive sheet having non-halogen flame retardancy suitable for the production of a flat cable, obviating a shrinkage-preventing film on the adhesion of the flat cable to a substrate, and improving the workability for the adhesion. CONSTITUTION: The flame-retardant adhesive sheet comprises the laminate of an insulating film to an adhesive layer comprising a phosphorus-modified saturated copolyester in which the phosphorus component is introduced into the saturated copolyester main skeleton, wherein the concentration of the phosphorus in the polyester component is >=0.6wt.% based on the whole amount of the adhesive sheet. The insulating film is preferably a polyimide film. The flat cable has a structure comprising a conducting layer 2 and an adhesive layer and an outside insulating film which are disposed on both the sides of the conducting layer 2 as insulating materials 107a, 107b, wherein the insulating material 107a or 107b on at least one of both the sides is formed from the adhesive sheet. |
