PURPOSE: To prevent intermediate storey stoppage due to an action of a governor at the time when a passenger cage is intentionally swung by taking speed of the passenger cage output from a speed detector to a speed command generating circuit in a control microcomputer, judging a speed detection value and a specified value and changing over to a travelling pattern for emergency in accordance with a judgement result. CONSTITUTION: Speed is detected by a speed detector 10 making contact with a rope 11 connected to a passenger cage 5 at the time when an elevator travels, and it is given to a speed command generating circuit 12 located in a control microcomputer 17. A judging apparatus 20 to judge a speed detection value 18 detected from the speed detector 10 and a specified value 19 is provided in the circuit 12, and in the case when a data of the specified value 19 is larger than a data of the speed detection value 18, a current speed command 24 is given to a speed control circuit 14, and the elevator is made to travel normally. Additionally, in the case when the data of the speed detection value 18 is larger than the specified value by the judging apparatus 20, it is changed over to a speed command 25 for emergency and given to the speed control circuit 14, elevator rated speed is reduced to low speed, and driving control is carried out to a service storey. |
