<p>PURPOSE: To form an image having a high quality and no density-unevenness, in spite of a temperature change of a thermal head, due to generation of an adequate driving energy by so controlling a generating energy that a sufficient energy is applied to a recording paper. CONSTITUTION: In a printing letter to a thermosensitive paper, 2560 pieces of heat resistance bodies are divided into four blocks and are respectively drived with a stagger of a timing (four division driving). When data corresponding to heat resistance bodies 40H from a first number to a 1280 number are transferred from a CPU, the data are stored in synchronism with a transfer clock CLK of a shift resister 40A set in a thermal line head. Respective bits of the heat generating register bodies 40H and the shift resister 40A and 40B have a correspondence of 1:1, and, if a content of a shift resister is '1', at the time when/STBn (n=1, 2, 3, 4) becomes 'L', a corresponding heat generating resistance body generates heat.</p> |
