<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a document from being marked by a paper feed roller and from being out of place and minimize damage to the document by minimizing the time when the roller is slipping on the document. CONSTITUTION: After rotating a motor for a specific time necessary to obtain fixed number of revolutions with a paper feed roller 8 retreated, the paper feed roller 8 is changed to its paper feed condition to feed a document P. The document P is fed by a specific length by the paper feed roller 8 kept in a paper feed condition. Next, the paper feed roller 8 is changed to its retreat condition to hold the document P. After rotating the paper feed roller 8 for a specific time, holding of the document P is canceled, and the paper feed roller is changed to its paper feed condition again.</p> |
