PURPOSE: To facilitate the detection and rejection of defective egg in an egg- breaking process. CONSTITUTION: A position-detection means having a detection range A corresponding to plural cups 11 and a deviator-selection means are positioned at the upstream side of deviators 18,19. The position-detection means transmits a position-detection signal of a specified cup and a deviator-selection signal to a controller, which actuates the selected deviator to transfer the cup on a prescribed guide rail. For example, a touch-type position sensor 20 of the deviator-selection means acting also as the position-detection means is divided into two to form a deviator sensing region 20a for whole egg and a deviator sensing region 20b for blood-spotted egg. When a point PI in the deviator-sensing region for whole egg passing in the detection range, e.g. immediately before a cup 11-0 containing a whole egg is indicated, the deviator 19 is actuated when the cup is transferred to the position of the cup 11-7 to transfer the cup to the guide rail 16 for whole egg. |
