PURPOSE: To provide a contrasting medical molding having optical transparency such as a catheter by forming an X-ray contrasting halide polymer into stripes or layers in a resin. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray contrasting halide polymer is formed into stripes or layers in a resin other than the X-ray contrasting halide polymer to form a medical tool to be left/inserted into a body. At least one of a polyamide, epoxy resin, polyurethane, polyester, polycarbonate, and vinyl polymer is used for the X-ray contrasting halide polymer. Bromine and/or iodine, or an epoxy resin or polycarbonate derived from brominated diphenol is used for the halogen of the X-ray contrasting halide polymer. Tetrabromobisphenol-A is preferably used for the brominated diphenol. |
