PURPOSE: To cool and purify combustion gas together with coolant in a coolant filter chamber efficiently in two stages by providing the coolant for cooling the combustion gas and collecting a combustion residue in a canister filled with a gas generating agent. CONSTITUTION: Ignition means, that is, an ignition device 6 and an igniter 7 are housed in a housing chamber 3 partitioned in the central part of a housing 2 provided with a gas exhaust port 1. In a combustion chamber 4 partitioned outside the housing chamber 3, a canister 9 filled with a gas generating agent 8, which is ignited by the ignition means 6 and 7 and generates gas, is provided. Further, in a coolant filter chamber 5 partitioned outside the combustion chamber 4, a coolant 10 and a filter 11 for cooling and purifying combustion gas generated in the canister 9 are provided. In such a construction, a coolant 20 for cooling the combustion gas and collecting the combustion residue is provided in the canister 9. |
