SPRAY TYPE PASTE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition excellent in stretching performance and fineness and spreading of particles in spraying by blending a modified starch, a cellulose derivative or a water-soluble synthetic polymer, etc., with a surfactant. CONSTITUTION: This spray type paste composition is obtained by blending (A) 0.1-20wt.% of a modified starch, a cellulose derivative, a saponified product of polyvinyl acetate and a water-soluble polymer selected from a polymer obtained by polymerizing a sulfonic acid group-containing vinylic monomer and its salt and a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing two or more kinds of monomers and its salt with (B) 0.001-1.0wt.% of a nonionic surfactant having 2-16 HLB by Davies method and/or an ionic surfactant having 61.0 mm mol critical micell concentration of formulas I to V [R<1> to R<3> are each a straight- chain or branched chain 6-10C alkylhydroxyalkyl; R<4> and R<5> are each a straight- chain or a branched chain 6-10C alkylhydroxyalkyl; A is a 2-3C alkylene; (a), (b) and (c) are each >=0; (a+b+c)=2 to 22] and (C) water.
