PURPOSE: To provide the subject filter easy in attaching and detaching work and reduced in pressure loss. CONSTITUTION: A mold frame 41 has air passing openings 411a, 411b provided to one surface crossing an air flow direction at a right angle thereof and the other surface opposed thereto and an air passage is demarcated between the openings 411a, 411b. A filter material 42 is arranged to the air passage in the state supported on the mold frame 41 and constituted by a laminate 420 wherein corrugated plates 42a and flat linear plates 42b are alternately laminated. Long plate-shaped reinforcing materials 45 whose longitudinal directions 450 cross the air flow direction D at right angle are laminated to the laminate 420 so that the area of the surface opposed to the air flow direction D of each of them is narrower than that of the surface parallel to the air flow direction D thereof and both end parts 452 of them in the longitudinal directions 450 are supported on the mold frame 41.
