PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid reagent capable of exactly measuring anα-amylase, urea nitrogen, creatinine, creatine, etc., in a biological sample with a good accuracy without including an enzymic stabilizer or an enzymic excipient by adding a buffer agent and purified water to an enzyme for measurement. CONSTITUTION: This liquid reagent is obtained by adding a buffer agent and purified water to an enzyme for measurement without including an enzymic stabilizer or an enzymic excipient affecting the results of measurement of components in a biological sample or removing the enzymic stabilizer or excipient. The liquid reagent is especially effective in measuring a sulfhydryl(SH) enzyme such asα-glucosidase, urease or creatine amidinohydrolase.
