The invention pertains to a nonelectrical detonator (1) with a casing (2), an explosive charge (3, 4) situated in the casing (2), a secondary ignition element (5) for igniting the explosive charge (3,4), an electronic delay circuit (7) with a final stage, which leads into the casing (2) and causes a set, fixed delay of ignition of the secondary ignition element (5) once a start pulse has been received, and an ignition tube (26), the action of which starts or activates an energy source in a delayed-action ignition element (20), which starts the delay circuit (7). To improve safety and reliability in relation to the energy source for the delay circuit (7) and to prolong the delay times, the invention proposes that the energy source be an electrolytic current source which is non-detonatively activated or started. |
