PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of a cyan coloring density at the time of development processing, and to improve the stability with age and the shelf stability of the titled material after exposure, by mounting an emulsion layer contg. a specified silver iodobromide particle and a specified cyan coupler on the titled material. CONSTITUTION:One or more layers of the silver halide emulsion layers of the titled material contain a silver iodobromide particle (A) having a low mean silver iodide content (for example, 2-20mol.%) and 0.05-6mol.% a surface silver iodide content, and one or more kinds of cyan couplers shown by the formula. The particle A may be constituted of a core-shell type particle comprising the core part having the high silver iodide content, the shell part having low content and the intermediate part having intermediate content. In the formula, R1 is -CONR4R5 or -NHCOR4, etc., R2 is a monovalent group, R3 is a substituent group, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by reaction with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, (l) is 0 or 1, (m) is 0-3, R4 and R5 are each hydrogen atom or an aromatic group, etc. |
