PURPOSE:To solve a molding failure in which a non-filling part is left in an end wall part in a pressure vessel having a base inserted and fixed to the end wall of a vessel body molded by rotation by molding a thickened part including the non-filling part on the outer surface side of the end wall, and cutting the thickened part to form the end wall. CONSTITUTION:A plastic pressure vessel has a metal base 4 inserted and fixed to the end wall 3 of a vessel body 1 molded by rotation molding. The base 4 has a cylindrical shaft 5 allowing the vessel body to communicate with the inside and outside, and a flange 6 protruded from one end of the cylindrical shaft 5, and they are buried in the end wall 3. On the other hand, a thickened part 26 including a non-filling part 24 is molded integrally with the end wall 3 on the outer surface side of the end wall 3 enclosing the cylindrical shaft 5 in the vessel body 1. Thus, a molding failure in which the non-filling part 24 is left along the adjacent corner part between the cylindrical shaft 5 and the flange 6 is solved, the base 4 is surely fixed, and the strength and resistance of the vessel body 1 are ensured. |
