PURPOSE:To securely perform debugging operation with efficiency by composing an inference history display mechanism of a 1st display mechanism which displays retrieved rule classes in order and a 2nd display mechanism which display retrieved production rules and fact data. CONSTITUTION:When the debugging operation is performed, the 1st display mechanism 11 displays the rule classes, to which the production rules executed by an inference engine 4 are assigned in order according to rule numbers stored in the inference history display mechanism 6, in order. Then the 2nd display mechanism 12 displays all production rules in a rule class selected and indicated by an operator among the rule classes displayed by the 1st display mechanism 11 and fact data regarding the production rules. Consequently, it can be tested whether fact data such as variables, etc., set in the condition parts of all the production rules are adequate or not. |
