摘要 PURPOSE:To establish a high efficient and low pollution combustion of slurry fuel and enable a high volume of combustion to be performed by a method wherein means for promoting pulverization is arranged either at an upstream side or downstream side of a mixing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of injection holes 8 opened on the same circumference at a surface of an atomizer chip main body 1 facing a furnace are provided, and four sub-injection holes 11 having a smaller diameter than that of the injection holes 8 are arranged in a 90 deg. spaced apart relation in a circumferential direction on the co-axial outer circumferences. A widening angle thetai (i=0-4) of injection holes (injection holes 89 and each of sub-injection holes 11) against a central axis 12 of a burner is set to have a relation of theta1<theta0=theta2=theta3<theta4 and an inclination angle of the burner in respect to the central axis 12 in its circumferential direction is set to be 0 deg.. A hole diameter of the sub-injection hole 11 is preferably about 1/2 of the injection hole 8. Arrangement of the sub-injection hole causes a sub-injection flow for adjusting ignition to be generated or a movement of an inner cylinder of a burner gun in an axial direction causes a gas-liquid striking distance to be adjusted and then a characteristic of pulverization can be controlled. Slurry fuel under this condition is burnt with a superior ignition and a better flame stabilizing characteristic.
